GSP Faith Understood Winner Purloin Supplemented to Keeneland April Selected HORA

Keeneland has added two notable fillies to the supplemental catalog for Friday’s April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, bolstering an already competitive auction lineup.

Faith Understood (Catholic Boy), a graded stakes-placed 4-year-old filly, headlines the supplemental entries. The ELiTE consignment won her maiden race at Keeneland as a 3-year-old before securing a second-place finish in the Memories of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct and a third in the GIII Honeymoon at Santa Anita. Faith Understood is out of stakes-placed winner Zia, by Munnings, and descends from the family of Grade 3 winner River Seven.

Purloin (Arrogate), a 4-year-old consigned by Grovendale Sales, has also been added to the catalog. The filly won her career debut at Belmont at the Big A and boasts an impressive pedigree. She is out of Smooth Path, by Scat Daddy, and comes from the family of European champions Commander in Chief and Warning (GB).

The Keeneland April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale has cataloged 88 horses for Friday’s auction, which begins at 6:30 p.m. ET following the conclusion of 10 races on the Spring Meet’s closing day.

Prospective buyers can access the online catalog and full-sale form figures through the Keeneland website, where the auction will also be livestreamed.

The supplemental additions reflect growing interest in the April sale, which continues to attract quality racing prospects with established form and promising pedigrees.
